Kenzie Greenhouse, LCPC

Hey there!

d I am glad you made it here! One of the bravest things people can do is to reach out for some help, especially in our child, adolescent and young adult years. Growing up can come with all sorts of pressure, confusion, and judgement, leading to anxiety and other strong emotions. You or your child may lash out in anger, struggle with communication or identifying feelings, act on impulses, engage in black and white thinking, get lost in big feelings, avoid tasks, and disconnect from peers or support systems.

As a neurodiversity and LGBTQI+ affirming therapist, I will help you tackle these struggles by empowering you to find and use your unique strengths, beliefs, and passions to attain your personal goals.

I believe connection is vital and I strive to help you feel safe and heard. My motto is to always have your back. I want you to know that I will always hear you and see you. My number one goal is to help foster safety so you feel safe enough to share your story free of judgment.

I have a strong  background in helping children, adolescents, and young adults manage/explore:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • Emotional Dysregulation
  • Identity Exploration
  • Life Transitions
  • Confidence Building
  • Familial and/or Partner Relationships
  • Family Divorce

In my years of working with a diverse child, adolescent, and young adult population, I have learned there is no battle that it "too big" or "too small." With a safe and judgement free space, there is endless room to explore, conquer your battles, and create a life story that you can be proud of!

With a person-centered approach, I will adjust my treatment plans uniquely to compliment your personality and needs.  I will do my best to work around your schedule so that we can meet during times you feel most comfortable.

Additionally, I am certified in AutPlay Therapy. This comprehensive approach focuses on supporting neurodivergent individuals ages 3-18 who are searching for a nurturing, play-like environment where therapy revolves around the client's preferences and strengths.

Prior to joining Capon Counseling, I worked at South Tampa Therapy and Mediation, where I provided individual, family, and couples counseling. During that time, I discovered my love and passion for working with children and teens. I also worked at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, gaining invaluable trauma and crisis counseling experience.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Health Sciences and my Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from University of South Florida.  I am licensed in Maryland as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). I am also registered in Florida as a mental health counselor and I am certified in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any further questions or concerns in taking your next steps! I offer both in-person and virtual appointments. Please email me at [email protected] or call/text me at 407-951-4919.

I look forward to hearing from you!
